You saw the video we did and now you are ready to plan your own trip. This travel guide is designed to help you re-trace our steps and help you plan a really great trip on through the Talledega National Forrest and Little River Canyon.. This route is really designed to help you hit most of the best trails, see the best sites and camp at some of the best locations through Alabama.. Didn’t see our “Alabama Rubicon” Video? Be sure to check it out as you use this guide to plan your own trip! The Alabama Rubicon Trip Video
This route is designed to run south to north. We have found that it flows the best that way and allows you to end at the best campsite! You should budget TWO days of adventure on the route and plan to have a travel day before to camp (Night 1) and a travel day home depending on how far you live from Alabama. **** Its important to know that NO MORE THAN 8 rigs are allowed to ride together in Little river canyon without a permit. Little river canyon is a no joke national preserve. There are federal park rangers in there. They dont play around. You shouldnt either! ***
