This guide is designed to help you retrace our steps through two of Alabama's most incredible off-road destinations: Talladega National Forest and Little River Canyon. We've dialed in a route that hits the best trails, most stunning scenery, and top-tier campsites — all packed into a four-day trip.
Trip Structure:
Travel time will vary depending on how far you're coming from.
We run this route south to north — and for good reason. It flows naturally, builds momentum, and saves the best campsite for last. Trust the process.
Little River Canyon is a federally protected national preserve, and it's patrolled by federal park rangers who take the rules seriously. You should too.
No more than 8 rigs may ride together without a permit.
Plan your group size accordingly and secure a permit in advance if you're rolling with a larger crew. This isn't a suggestion — it's federal regulation.
